Dhekelia can be found just east of Larnaca. It is just off the B3 and easily accessible. There are actually many beaches along this stretch of coastline. Where you stop depends on what you like. Some areas have sunbeds, others are more remote. All of them have golden sands and lovely clear water though. For our tour, we drove up the motorway from Larnaca, and came off at Yanathes. We drove past the main village drag, and parked at a free car park near an old abandoned tavern. There were several cars parked here, but plenty of space for more. We then walked along the beach until we got back to the main drag, taking photos as we went...

Dhekelia itself could be seen in the distance, and there is a big power station there. However, that shouldn't put you off what is a lovely beach area.
